As an official non-profit organization, our mission is to foster vulnerability and support mental well-being in the communities we serve. We provide confidential peer-to-peer support sessions to help you navigate through challenging times. You're not alone on this journey to healing.

Clark Edson

Clark Edson

Founder and President

Clark recently graduated from UT Austin and is currently working at Scripps Research in San Diego as a Clinical Researcher. He is from San Diego, California.

He founded the Peace of Mind Foundation in order to help reach young adults on college campuses who are struggling with their mental health through a peer listening system. He is currently the National President after serving as a peer listener and chapter President.

Co-Founder and Vice President

Andrew is a current Senior at UT Austin majoring in Chemical Engineering from Houston, Texas.

He cofounded the Peace of Mind Foundation and is serving as a peer listener at UT Austin.

Kai recently graduated UT Austin and is a current incoming medical student at UT San Antonio Long School of Medicine, from Dallas Texas.

He cofounded the Peace of Mind Foundation and served as a peer listener at UT Austin.

Melanie Challberg

Head Advisor (LCSW)

Melanie is a licensed counselor and social worker (LCSW) who works at Hyde Park High School and she generously donates her time to support our counselors and train students to become Peer-to-Peer counselors and advise the Peace of Mind Foundation
